Got a straw hat, hiking shoes, and a backpack today. We are so ready! Even got the GORP!
Checked in at the headquarters office for the Refuge. Can walk anywhere in the Refuge I want. Will stay on the roads at first. Told me to look out for wild pigs. Make a lot of noice if I hear rustling in the underbrush. I think Gaby and I will be ok.
