Finally found a good geologic map of where we were.



This is an interactive map of Arizona. I put a link to it in the Links section. You can click on the map of the state to get a close-up map of the section you are interested in. There are also legends for the Cenozoic Units, Mesozoic Units, and Paleozoic and Proterozoic Units, i.e. Q, Qo, Tsv, and Xm.

For each symbol, there is a photo of the terrain from a distance and close-up of the rocks.
