Found a neat bead shop...

on Camp Mohave Road, Bonnie's. She has a whole month's worth of classes and classes in wire-wrapping. The fees are very reasonable and I can't wait to start. I am going to treat myself to a rock tumbler for my birthday. Then I guess I will be tumbling my rocks for weeks and weeks and then I can play at making some jewelry.

This bead shop was the de bomb, with beads and beads and beads, plus tumbled rocks and agate slabs and everything you could possibly need. I was thinking, why don't I just use their rocks; they were only a buck/50. LOL Well, I am going to all the effort to find the silly rocks, so I just as well use them. Another LOL.

The rock club didn't pan out for me. No pun intended. All the trips required 4WD. But I learned a lot to get a good start. All the wilderness areas around allow rock hounding, so I will just go it alone. Gaby and I will hoof it. That would be good for both of us anyway. And gas costs too much to be charging around the desert anyway.

Next stop the Bigelow Cholla Garden. Hope the Cholla don't attack us. They do that I've heard.
